Damaged Goods or shortage in order;
Should your goods arrive damaged then please let us know upon within 3-4 working days of receipt- by telephoning 01493 753 284(preferred method);- we will also need confirmation in writing;

Or email us -Glencall; ; Please quote your sale number where possible; We will then arrange for a replacement- - Please keep all the original packaging materials where possible as these will be needed for inspection should we make an insurance claim from our carriers- the items and packaging will need to be available for a reasonable period of time after you notify us of any damges so they can be inspected if required ; We may collect the goods and would ask you to pack the box as well as possible for collection;
Should your order be short/ or any items missing, then please let us know by telephone on the above number, we will also need confirmation in writing, within 3 calendar days of receipt as we will not be held responsible for any missing goods should we be contacted beyond this time; -
If for any reason you are not happy with the goods you receive and you wish to return them then please let us know within 14 days of receipt by sending us an email Glencall or telephone us on 01493 753 284 We will then ask you to return the item, at your own expense, please make sure you take reasonable care when packing the goods for return so they don't get damaged in transit, and where possible use the original packaging; On cancellation of order we will issue you with a full refund, within 14 days: If you fail to take reasonable care of the goods before they are returned to us, and this results in damage or deterioration to the extent that we are unable to re sell the item then we will be unable to refund you . This cancellation does not affect your legal rights - for example, if goods are faulty

Keeping Your Mail box in good condtion;

For all external letterboxes; Wipe off any dirt and winter salt; Remove price tags etc.. with a mild solvent such as white spirit and do not scrape the surface with an abrasive object; Regular washing with warm soapy water is recommended, it can also be a good idea to apply some wax to your post box in winter months; Use standard locksmith lubricant on any moving parts also fixtures such as nuts/ screws to keep them in good condtion

Delivery times

For most of our range, when in stock, delivery is normally within a few days but please allow 5-7 working days from when you place your order-(excluding Bank/ Public holidays) : If you order a box with a house / company name or number then this will not add any extra to the delivery times;

Please note that we use a courier which is a fully trackable service ,
As Couriers are not employed by us we can not be held responsible for any delays which may occur when goods are in transit, or for any delays due to bad weather;
All our prices shown on our web page include shipping mainland UK: When items are dispatched they are sent on a next working day - Monday to Fridays only, delivery and can be anytime between 8.30 am and 6.00 pm, we can not specify an exact time; Prices for other areas are as follows;

Our lettering is waterproof hardwearing cast vinyl;
We can apply house/company names on most of our range,- Please note that if you request lettering on your post box it will be laid out how we feel it looks best - for instance depending upon the length of the name and the space available we will place the lettering how we feel it looks best and how it fits in with the space available on the box- there will be a message box when you please your order for any special requests. If we do not receive any special instructions as to how you wish lettering to be laid out on your box then we will not take any responsibility for the layout of the lettering :

We collect your information only for the purposes of delivering your order and we share your details with various companies to both process and deliver your goods. We only collect basic personal information about you which does not include any sensitive types of information or location based information . This does , however, include your name, address, telephone number and email address;

We need to know your basic personal information in order to process your order. We will not collect any data that we do not need to provide and oversee this service;

We use third party services for payment processing when you place an order on-line; We will not store or collect your payment card details. We are required under UK tax law to keep your basic personal data (name, address, contact details) for a minimum of 6 years after which time it will be destroyed. We do not keep any information for marketing purposes;

Should you have any complaints please email us (preferred as we will need any complaints in writing ) - On receipt of your complaint we shall contact you within 10 working days and do our best to resolve the matter; Please note if you do telephone us with your complaint, we will also need details of your complaint in writing, CONTACT US- we will need your order reference , and , or , date of order and the name and address the order was sent and, if relevant, any images/ photographs


Please note that although most of our mail boxes., being made of steel, are for exterior use (apart from when stated on each individual page) due to the nature of a mail box: It is always recommended that letter boxes, if wall mountable, be mounted against a flat surface as any uneven surface may allow the rain to drip down behind the box and enter the mounting holes;
It is also recommended that if you live in an exposed area you place a line of waterproof sealant between the post box and the outer edges of the wall;
Please also note that none of our letter boxes are guaranteed against vandalism- this is impossible to predict in any given situation - We supply letter boxes for domestic and business use and they are suitable for most situations- If you are placing a letter box in an area where the risk of vandalism is high then we suggest you take independent advice as to the most suitable receptical for your needs: We will not take any reponsibility whatsover for any act of vandalism / thef or Fire, caused to any of the post boxes we supply

For all mail boxes you have a 5 year warrenty (excluding locks which have a 1 year guarantee- replacement locks are available on request);
The guarantee period commences on the day of purchase .. The guarantee is valid in the country of purchase and in accordance with local legislation. Please contact us if you wish to make a claim under the guarantee. The guarantee will lapse if unauthorized alterations or repairs are made to the item or if the item is used for purposes other than normal household use. Wel may ask for photographs, either digital or other, of the item, or may ask for return of the item so that an inspection can be made of the product;
Please note that mail box locks need to be regularly oiled especially before the winter months, failure to do so may cause the lock to seize / and even break;
