Greywalls has been a family home for most of its history. Edward VII was a guest before the Great War and since 1924 three generations of the same family have owned and cared for this lovely Edwardian house.
The style and comfort of Greywalls is, perhaps, best exemplified by the quiet luxury of the panelled library; a large, peaceful room lined with books, comfortably furnished and warmed by a log fire.
Most of the rooms enjoy uninterrupted views - to one side, over Muirfield and the Firth of Forth - to the other side, over the gardens and the gentle rolling farmland to the Lammermuir Hills, immortalised in Donizetti's famous opera "Lucia di Lammermoor".
Twin (double) rooms on a bed and full Scottish breakfast basis; Transport We can arrange self drive transport with collection and return to airport including unlimited mileage, tax and insurance; We would also be happy to arrange for driven transport if required;
