Glasgow Gailes golf links

Glasgow Gailes 6,535 yards par 71
Gailes lies in the heart of Scotland’s Ayrshire Golf coast with several celebrated courses within easy driving distance: Royal Troon - 5 miles, Old Prestwick - 8 miles and Turnberry - 35 miles.
Also nearby, the Loch Lomond Golf Club have recently opened their Dundonald Links course.
Glasgow Golf Club was founded in May 1787 by 22 wealthy merchants and serving army officers and is recognised as the 9th oldest golf club in the world; The course was opened on the 19th May 1892 making the Glagow club unique in having two courses 30 miles apart;
Less than an hour from Glasgow, Gailes is a challenging links course - tough and traditionally Scottish - consistently selected by the Royal & Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews as a final qualifying venue for the Open Championship
Kilmarnock Barassie -6,817 yards- par 72
Founded 1887 A challenging links course recently altered to increased length resulting in both new and old greens;
The Barassie Links offers one of the most challenging links layout in Scotland. It has already hosted the British Amateur Championships along with Prestwick, the European Youths, a Final Open Qualifying and in 2004 was the venue for the Junior Open the week before the Open Championship at Royal Troon.
Irvine Bogside- 6,408 yards par 73
The Irvine Golf Club, Bogside sports a traditional links course established over 100 years ago owing much of it's present day character to the design work of James Braid in 1926. The course provides a challenge to all with its subtle changes in direction and no two holes the same.
Irvine Golf Club hosts the Final Qualifying Rounds for the Open Championship when it is held at Turnberry or Royal Troon. In addition to this the P.G.A frequently stage their events at the course, including the Sunderland Of Scotland Masters. In 2004 the club hosted the Qualifying rounds for the British Open Championship at Royal Troon
Turnberry Kintyre Course - 6504 yards- par 72
The Kintyre is the second course of the renowned Turnberry Hotel and Golf resort. Formally knows as the 'Arran' course which has been upgraded to championship standard with 11 entirely new holes. It was one of the Final Qualifying courses for the 2004 Open Championship at Troon.
Kintyre is links golf at its exhilarating best. Undulating greens, glorious fairways, magnificent ocean holes, and all with stunning views of Kintyre, Arran, and the famous Turnberry Lighthouse.
