You Can fix the Safepost Combi at ground level, (comes with fixing) needs to be bolted onto a concrete surface; Or you can fix it slightly above the ground (for instance if the ground is soft or uneaven) by using a support structure which is an optional extra see here for image (size of the galvanised steel support structure is B.320xD.215xH.315 mm) ,You can also mount the Safepost combi behind a fence, should your fence be taller than the combi mail slot then you may need to fix the combi to the fence by drilling some holes in the front of the box and fixing with suitable wood screws, or if fixing to a metal fence use suitable bolts and nuts

Shown on left is the Combi in Dark Green fixed onto concrete, there is a base to the letter box with a hole in the centre through which you fix the box (it comes with a long bolt) into the concrete base; shown here with optional lettering in white , clarendon font;
