Terms and Conditions

Damaged Goods or shortage in order;
Should your goods arrive damaged then please let us know upon within 3 calendar days of receipt by telephoning 01592 840853(preferred method); Or email us enquiries@glencall.co.uk; Please quote your sale number where possible; We will then arrange for a replacement- Please keep all the original packaging materials where possible as these will be needed for inspection should we make an insurance claim from our carriers; We may collect the goods and would ask you to pack the box as well as possible for collection;
Should your order be short/ or any items missing, then please let us know within 3 calendar days of receipt as we will not be held responsible for any missing goods should we be contacted beyond this time;
CANCELLATION AND RETURNS-- the following returns policy does not apply to multiple banks of mail boxes made to order , or bespoke items made to your specification , ie the Foundry hand made post boxes; and any personalised house signs : -Should you have your letter box personalised with a Vinyl House/ Company name then you can still return your box but the cost of the name can not be refunded
If for any reason you are not happy with the goods you receive and you wish to return them then please let us know within 7 working days of receipt by either telephoning us on 01592 840853 or sending an email enquiries@glencall.co.uk We will then ask you to return the item, at your own expense, please make sure you take reasonable care when packing the goods for return so they don't get damaged in transit, and where possible use the original packaging; On cancellation of order we will issue you with a full refund, within 30 days: If you fail to take reasonable care of the goods before they are returned to us, and this results in damage or deterioration to the extent that we are unable to re sell the item then we will be unable to refund you . This cancellation does not affect your legal rights - for example, if goods are faulty
Please do not return any letter boxes or house signs to the contact details on this page as the return address (depending upon which box is purchased) may be different from the one shown here - we will forward this to you when you contact us

Delivery Times

For most of our range, when in stock delivery is normally within a few days but please allow 5-7 working days from when you place your order-(excluding Bank/ Public holidays) : If you order a box with a house / company name or number then this will not add any extra to the delivery times; If You do with an item sooner than this then please ring us to check availability before ordering on 01592 840853;
Please note that for the boxes made to order, ie, the Kingsbury/ Bloomsbury/Chelsea and Rock Foundry post boxes, delivery times are slightly longer, please see each individual page; Normally for the Kingsbury/ Bloomsbury allow 5-7 working days, for the Rock Foundry- Artisan postboxes 5-8 weeks; For the House signs delivery times are on each page;
Please note that we use a courier which is a fully trackable service for most of our products although there are exceptions, ie newspaper tubes of bought on their own are sent by Royal Mail;
As Couriers are not employed by GlenCall International we can not be held responsible for any delays which may occur when goods are in transit, or for any delays due to bad weather;

Please note that when purchasing a single newspaper tube, these, due to the cost of carriers, are normally sent by Royal Mail which make take 2-3 days longer than that stated above (does not apply to the oblong newspaper boxes which are sent by courier)

We do not send out any marketing material and you will receive no mailings from us
Our policy is never to pass onto any third party any personal details you give us on your order form

Information we collect from you is through the ordering/registration process and is kept strictly private and only used to process your order; We will ask for a telephone number when you order and this is only so we can contact you should there be a problem with your order- your telephone number will not be passed onto any third party;

COMPLAINTS
Should you have any complaints please telephone us or write to us- see contact information above- On receipt of your complaint we shall contact you within 10 working days and do our best to resolve the matter;

Guarantees
The following information applies to the individual range of mail boxes only; The commercial range of mail boxes, ie multiples made to order are different, and full details will be sent if you request a quote for these boxes;
Please note that although most of our mail boxes., being made of steel, are for exterior use (apart from when stated on each individual page) due to the nature of a mail box (ie mounting holes in back of box and letter opening for mail) we can not guarantee 100% waterproof ness for any letter box : It is always recommended that letter boxes, if wall mountable, be mounted against a flat surface as any uneven surface may allow the rain to drip down behind the box and enter the mounting holes; Also it is recommended that boxes are mounted, where possible, away from any prevailing wind or rain , to avoid strong winds from blowing open the letter flap which may allow water to enter the box;
It is recommended that in the above situation that you place a line of waterproof sealant between the box and the outer edges of the wall;
Please also note that none of our letter boxes are guaranteed against vandalism- this is impossible to predict in any given situation - We supply letter boxes for domestic and business use and they are suitable for most situations- If you are placing a letter box in an area where the risk of vandalism is high then we suggest you take independent advice as to the most suitable receptical for your needs: We will not take any reponsibility whatsover for any act of vandalism / thef or Fire, caused to any of the post boxes we supply

Individual mail boxes;
The guarantees differ depending upon which model of mailbox you buy, the manufacturer of the box is clearly marked on each page of our on-line store;
Please note that all of the following information does not affect your statutory rights.
Brabantia mail boxes;
During the guarantee period (you will find this clearly specified on every pack and also on our web site) Brabantia will repair free of charge any defects in items which can be ascribed to material, construction and/or manufacturing faults or will replace the item or the defective parts of the item at its discretion. The guarantee period commences on the day of purchase .. The guarantee is valid in the country of purchase and in accordance with local legislation. Please contact GlenCall International if you wish to make a claim under the guarantee. The guarantee will lapse if unauthorized alterations or repairs are made to the item or if the item is used for purposes other than normal household use. GlenCall International may ask for photographs, either digital or other, of the item, or may ask for return of the item so that an inspection can be made of the product;

DAD UK mail boxes;
The guarantees stated on each page for DAD UK mail boxes are for material only (ie stainless steel guaranteed for 5 years against rust)
