ROYAL MARINE HOTEL, BRORA

Originally designed as a private country house in the early 1900s by the renowned Scottish Architect, Sir Robert Lorimer, the elegance of that period has been carefully retained whilst bringing the hotel's facilities into the modern era. Carved wooden fireplaces and a sweeping stairway lead you to the 22 individually styled bedrooms(all en suite)
The hotel also boasts its own indoor pool and fully equipped spa, leisure club and gym.
A choice of three restaurants includes an all-day Cafe Bar, a Bistro and the award-winning 'Lorimer' Dining Room serving freshly cooked local seafood, meat and game. After dinner relax with a glass of Brora's Clynelish Malt Whisky.

For the golfer and non-golfer there is plenty to do in the Scottish Highlands, some suggestions as follows
Golf, fishing, hillwalking, swimming pool, leisure club and curling.
The hotel has two boats on Loch Brora available for fishing.
Nearby is Dunrobin Castle, seat of the Clan Sutherland since the 1200s. Brora is ideal as a centre for touring the Northern Highlands and the Orkney Islands. The area abounds with birds and wildlife and provides excellent hill walking. Short breaks and golfing packages are available, as are Master Bedrooms, including a Four Poster Room.
